If you press “Make it” at this point, Design Space is going to put this on two totally different mats and we aren’t going to get the results we laid out on our canvas. Then, choose Line Spacing and move it down to where you want it placed on the envelope. Next, we’ll type in the address for the person we’re sending this to. Then what we’re going to do is to get another text box and select the Gracie Lou font again. Size it so that it fits well onto your envelope and place it where you need it to be on your envelope. Adjust the line spacing and then align it to the left. Now, we’re going to type out the return address. Next, select “text” and choose System Fonts and then search for Gracie Lou. We’re going to go ahead and just change the color of the envelope to white by selecting the layer. Next, we’re going to make the width 7 and the height is 5. We’re going to take this square and select “edit”. To get started, go to shapes and insert a square. The final layer will be for the address of the person you’re sending it to. The next one will be for the return address. The first layer will be for the shape and size of the envelope. So, we will create layers for our craft project. We like to work with this so that what we see in Cricut Design Space looks just like our final product.
